I came from a lower middle class family. I was average in studies throughout my entire student life. Furthermore, I studied my intermediate(+2) in Vikram Deb (autonomous) college in 2013-15. This was tough for my family to bear my education expenses. I used to pay my canteen bills and room rents lately always even if the fooding cost was 1500 rupees per month and room rent was 800 rupees per month. Thanks to the owners they trusted me and used to wait for the payment even 5 months 6 months and so. I used to see my classmates how they were purchasing things from stores while coming back from the college. I rarely had my breakfast, those days. Then somehow my 12th completed and I secured 74% which was perfect for a student like me, coming from a small town. My parents were happy with my result, I was too because I never expected high in life.

Then I took Physics in my graduation, I choose the same college, stayed in the same private hostel and having my food from the same canteen. As they were known to me already, they were not asking me for the payment every month end. But the problem was, my younger brother also joining same college for his 12th and stayed in the same private hostel. Which was an extra burden to my family. As I was having almost no money, I used to stay in the room most of the time. Then one of my friend from the same hostel his name was Bijay, he came to me and asked if I will teach one a 6th class English medium student. I took one or two days to answer "YES" or "NO" to him because I am an introvert type of person. Bijay said they will give me 1200 rupees per month for teaching science & math 1hr 6 days a week. I was good at Physics, chemistry, math. So After thinking a lot I pushed myself, I knew that it will going to be difficult for a shy person like me. Then after around couple of days we both borrowed 2 cycles from friends & went to that student's house around 4PM. The student's mother asked me couple of questions like my bio data and education details. His father was not there because his father was a principal in a govt. school. Then from the next day I started going to their house by foot. I continued till my graduation is completed and the amount 1200 each month helped me a lot.

Then I decided to do MCA because I knew my strengths and weaknesses, I was not good at literature subjects and subjects in which memorizing is required like history, geography, odia, etc. And I had an affection with computers since I was in 8th class that's a whole different story, I used to sit at my uncle's mobile shop and there he had a computer that I used to play games and doing paintings in MS Paint. Then after 10th I was staying out of the town so a pretty gap came between me and computers, Luckily I received a free Laptop from my college based on my marks in +2. In the mid of my Physics graduation, my madness about the computers recovered with huge craziness. So I decided to study MCA afterward.

In short, I joined a Government University whose name is "Berhampur University" thinking that the fees will be little less than other colleges for MCA. During my MCA, I also met of my hostel mate who somehow managed to arrange a home tutoring. And he was getting 2500 rupees per month just for teaching 2 subjects 1hr 3 days a week. When I heard, I thought it's insane, then I asked him to let me know if you find any new students, I will also teach. He found a student of 9th class, and we both used to go to teach our respective students, We used to ride cycle from Berhampur University boys hostel to Gopalpur Army colony about 5KM. It was difficult for sure.

After this much of experience I have realized that there are a lot of students like me studying in some college without any side income and there are parents who still believe in one-to-one teaching style. And this is more effective than online classes for sure. Now it's been 3yrs I have been working in a good IT company as "Senior Software Developer". I have worked through my weekends to build Ligament to help my kind of people and the parents who need an effective way to education for their children.
